To deliver exceptional housing services focused on creating opportunities for women facing disadvantage and be a powerful voice for women's equality.
In 2008, as a result of YWCA Victoria?s decision to apply for registration as a Housing Provider, a subsidiary company called Social Housing Victoria was formed to:
- Provide affordable rental housing and accommodation to people on low income;
- Advocate for the need of safe, affordable and appropriate housing for women;
Long Term Housing
All women who meet the housing eligibility criteria with a particular focus on those most disadvantaged.
Our community services work to create opportunities for women facing disadvantage and are delivered through three program priority areas housing, mentoring and community strengthening.
