Rural Housing Network Limited is committed to ending homelessness. We will work in partnership with Government, business, communities and individuals to develop and provide the full range of quality housing and homelessness services.
Rural Housing Network Limited (RHNL) was founded on the 17 November 1998 when the former Ovens and Murray Regional Housing Council Inc. changed its legal structure from an incorporated association to a company limited by guarantee.
The change in legal status signalled a period of expansion and opportunity. The organisation progressed from a small and committed team of staff providing service provision to the North East region of Victoria to its current status as the largest community housing organisation delivering multiple services across the entire Hume region of Victoria.
In addition to being a registered Housing Association, RHNL also manages a large portfolio of transitional (THM) and long term properties, and provides information and advice, advocacy and case management to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. These services are provided through the Housing Information and Referral (HIR), SHASP (Social Housing Advocacy and Support) and ITAR (Indigenous Tenants at Risk) programs.
RHNL has office locations in Wodonga, Wangaratta, Shepparton and Seymour. In addition to housing in each of these locations RHNL also has properties in Cobram, Beechworth, Yarrawonga, Benalla, Myrtleford, Mooroopna, Broadford, Kilmore, Wallan, Yea and Alexandra.
