Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative was formed in 1983. The then, Ministry of Housing funded the development of the co-operative and the purchase of properties to be managed by the co-operative. The agency has grown from an initial portfolio of 45 properties to 58 properties. The majority of these properties are located in the northern Geelong suburbs of Corio and Norlane, a well as Bell Post Hill, Bell Park, Hamlyn Heights, Belmont, Moolap and Lara.
